Members : Trevor & Muriel Marriott

Left : Trevor spent his teenage years in the early sixties playing in a local band 'Hardy Smith's Dance Band' and also in local beat groups. During this time he played at many dance halls in the Mansfield area, including Mansfield Palace. He had the privilege to appear on the same bill as many rock and roll legends, Gene Vincent, The Barron Knights and local Blues heroes Ten years After (Woodstock).

While playing with a local group - The Newtones - he appeared on the Midlands TV programme 'For Teenagers Only'. This was a twenty minute programme on a Tuesday evening featuring two beat groups back to back. This, however, didn't lead to greater things and his interests eventually widened to include Folk music.

For many years his musical outlet has been dormant, but recently it has rekindled and now he attends Bingham Folk Club were he enjoys an evening of varied music and friendly banter.

Right : Muriel, Trevor's wife, buys their raffle tickets which boosts club funds. The prize this week was a bottle of rose wine but, unfortunately, tonight wasn't a winner for them.
