I have been coming to Bingham Folk Club since the early ‘70s and always find the welcome warm.

I like to sing songs with a good story line backed by strong melody, and don’t mind whether they are traditional or contemporary.

I collect songs wherever I can get them, and sing songs written by (among others): Anthony John Clarke, Jez Lowe, Harvey Andrews, Graham Pratt, Ralph McTell, Eric Bogle, and Sandy Denny.

In the past few years I have written some of my own songs and have begun to inflict these on Bingham audiences – as ever they have been most tolerant!
