George has been attending Bingham Folk Club since 1975 and is therefore one of the 'oldest boys '.

He sings unaccompanied with a range of mainly traditional songs, including showtunes and shanties and sea songs, plus 'Geordie songs, Irish, Scots and rural English and a few from Ewan McColl's compositions.
