Having seen and heard rave reviews over the past twelve months we looked forward to seeing Megson live. Introduced as the 'Dynamic Duo' they certainly lived up to expectations. Megson delivered two sets with professional enthusiasm and expertise, the duo sang songs of the legendary Tommy Armstrong both of hardship and humour.

Deb's singing was complimented by 'Stu' on guitar and mandola. We also enjoyed newer songs and unaccompanied singing. Megson are up there with the best and have been nominated for the 'Folk Duo' 2009. Everyone at Bingham Folk Club wishes them well.
