Guests : Cherrington and Ward

Last Friday our guests were Cherrington and Ward.

Pamela Ward has a voice that is powerful but with a bell like quality. It can go from a traditional folk song to a Bessie Smith Blues song with ease.

We were treated to an evening of great variety during which Pamela demonstrated her great vocal dexterity which, along with her expressive face and eyes, enabled her to live her songs, as Paul expertly accompanied her.

The whole club was held spellbound as the pair demonstrated their talents. In the vernacular, "A gobsmacking performance"
