Guests : His Worship & The Pig

A welcome return to this very amusing duo from Stoke on Trent who told us how their unusual name came about.

Apparently, a local Lord Mayor wanted a butcher to donate a pig as a prize.

The butcher said he would providing the Mayor agreed to drive the pig through the town streets with a stick whilst dressed in his robes of office.

The duo wanted to write a suitable song about the tale but one just wouldn't come. Loving the tale, however, they couldn't resist using the title for their name.

The club was full to capacity on the night and we weren't disappointed. A mixture of clever, funny and sometimes risky songs, as well as lots of chorus songs (which we at the club love), had us in stitches and overrunning on time.

Very entertaining and talented to boot -A good time was had by one and all !
