A
real St. George's Day treat was shared by all with guests Pete Burnham
and Sheila Mosley. They
presented a varied programme of music, from traditional Irish Folk
songs, to familiar favourites by Dougie McLean and Bob Dylan.
Pete
and Sheila brought with them an interesting assortment of instruments
including, baritone concertina, mando-cello and cittern all played
effectively to complement their songs.
Some
inspired unaccompanied singing on songs such as 'The Blacksmith',
together with opportunities to join in heartily with the chorus
songs made for a great night for audience participation.
We
look forward to their return!
